Memory Trick: In Chinese, days are numbered — Monday is "Star-Period-One" (星期一), Tuesday is "Star-Period-Two" (星期二)... all the way to Saturday. Sunday breaks the pattern: it's 星期天 (tiān = sky/heaven) or 星期日. Once you know your numbers, you know your days!
